It is marked on the spinner head.you

is it safe to assume it is for a left handed person?

It will be held in your right hand and
retrieved/reeled in with your left hand.
actually it is considered a right handed reel
i know it does'nt make much sense but if
you are right handed and try to reel a spinning
reel with your right hand it is very awkward
as these reels are designed to be operated
in the up side down position.thanks for asking.
