The ring is a size 8 and stamped .925. It has a pale pink stone in the center and 4 pale pink down the side. Also has 27 clear stones. The pictures doesn't do the ring justice. Thanks so much for the info. I'm very interested. Just lately so many "925" stamped rings are just plated. I finally broke down and purchased a kit to test metals. But if it has been packed up for 25 years I would think it might be genuine ;D

I know that it has been packed up for over 25 years. There is no marking saying made in china. There are breathing holes for all the stone. Usually cheap jewelry doesn't have that. Thats about all I can tell you about it.

That's why I trust older rings rather than these gorgeous new rings that last a couple of days and then you gotta junk em. Look great unless you try and wear em and then the stones fall out or they turn your finger green as you said.
