A lot of RCA models had issues with transferring onto the PC, did you have any problem with that? Does it do that alright?

I have only tried it out to record. I could check the manual to see if you could transfer to computer. Didn't come with any usb cords so I can't see how that would work. I will check tho!

Ok! I checked the manual and see nothing about transfering files to a computer. It is all stored in the recorders' memory. Sorry!

u said it records up to 396 messages, how long can each message be?, could you record someone standing near you for more than a few seconds?

From what I understand is you record your messages as long as you want. The recorder holds 396 files or 13 hours worth. Whichever is reached first.

This is awesome ... I have just added one here on listia, only mines an older model not digital but aren't these great !?! I had mine for college lectures but since bought me a new digital, the size of a bic lighter that is really sweet ! Good luck Hon !
