The damage is like someone hit it &split the wood on the bottom side. I'm guessing maybe a kid had it &smashed it on something but it's not to bad. It's still playable my boyfriend played a song but it was kind of off tune. It seems to be old so there's a bit of damage to it but it's holding together I just don't have use for it.
