Description

The listing, Addiction Recovery Ribbon has ended.

Addiction to substance abuse affects millions, male and female of all ages all over the globe. It is the most difficult of all addictions to recover from. I struggled with substance abuse a good portion of my life. It wasn't til 1990 that I realized it was controlling my life, affecting those I love the most, destroying the relationships and ultimately taking over my life. Having 20s+ years of sobriety, my heart goes out to those who are still struggling after many years, and proud of those who have overcome and have sobriety today. If you know of someone who is attempting to overcome addiction and wish to show your support or even those who have sobriety, extend your love and prayers for them. We need to let them know they have not been forgotten.

This ribbon is quite larger then most of the others I've made. The silvertone chain measures 16" with an additional 2" extender. The ribbon is designed with 6mm turquoise bicone swaroskis, clear seed beads, with 4mm clear ab bicones at the very top of ribbon where it begins. Finished with silver bead caps on ends. This ribbon measures 1 by 2"

Wow! Your story brought tears to my eyes. My mom struggled with substance abuse since she was 14 years old. All of my childhood was spent raising myself and my little sister because of this. (years I would not change at all, though, because it built me into the person I am today) It wasn't until the birth of my little guy that she decided to get clean. She has been clean and sober now for going on 3 and a half years. I am so very proud of her and the person she is today. She is an amazingly strong person, in my eyes, to let go of a past that is very haunting to her. I love my mom for choosing to be clean and I love my little man for bringing this choice out in her :) Thank you for sharing your story. I pray I win this for my momma and if I don't I will look for one. I never knew these ribbons even existed.

Oh, that so touches my heart. I designed these when i begain investigating what the colors represented. Several colors, such as the teal ones ive listed actually represent womens cancer, tourettes, and several other illnesses and dis orders. I also just listed one, thats already closed which was red and stands for heart disease, hiv, madd, dare program for teens. A mother ended up winning it for her daughter to wear to school. I didnt know it was red ribbon week. Pretty coincidental, huh. Ive removed them from my personal shop because they were not selling and i would just as soon give them away to those whom they inspre. God Bless You, your mom, family and tell her to keep up the good work. Be a fighter!!! Wishing you the best

Do you sell these also? Or do you only list them on here? I am scared to pieces that I won't win this.
