I don't know much About iPods all I can say is this is a nano 8 GB that works flawlessly. The battery holds a charge just fine And it has very little scratches. It's in better than average shape. I received this in trade and I don't use it so lucky you. All my auctions are free shipping good luck. It already has music and songs on it you will be responsible for either keeping him or deleting them...

Update!!!// I just found a " New" car charger for this, and a pair of new "New" ear buds i will also throw in as a BONUS

Please note. I forgot to mention that the home charger cord shows a little wear, and has some tape on it...
but works fine. No issues.

I don't know what gen. Sorry I'm iPod stupid. But cosmetically it's in great shape . Very minor scratches, no nicks. If there is any problems I offer returns
