They look like bamboo to this time of year forms seed fronds, a bit fuller than wheat frond but same basic principal

Taller too. Is high enough to touch the electric wire from the street to home.
figure 15 feet. My neighbor encourages it as affords some privacy between the lots.
I think can not add pictures at this point.
