Bootleg copies will work and play but they won't get past a certain point in the game. I'm not saying your copy is at all, but I'm just curious what his opinion is.
I'm not trying to insinuate you're trying to pull a fast one on anyone here. Especially if you're not the original owner of the cart. Lots of the bootlegs look convincing if you don't know what to look for and I've just recently learned myself.
Where is says 'the Pokemon company' is in the wrong spot, the region coding is in the wrong spot, the battery that you can see in the case is on the wrong side and the label itself you be metallic and not glossy.
If you could post a picture from the bottom looking at the pins, that would be another way to help validate the game.
It's tough to explain it all in a post here, but do a quick google or YouTube search on bootleg/counterfeit Gameboy Advance Pokemon games and you'll get plenty of examples.
I guess that'll be up to the winner to decide. I don't mind it being taken off my hands but I can confirm that is it counterfeit so it won't keep a save. But if the person who wins the listing wants both...sure.
