I wear the older Mary Kay medium coverage foundation in Ivory 104 and conceler in ivory 2, do you know how i woould find out which color i am in the new foundation. Id love to try it! Thanks :)
Just realized I forgot to hit reply.....so the comment below should answer your question. If not, please let me know an I will see what I can do for you.
Alot of it will depend on your skin type. Is your skin more of a normal to dry or a combination of oily and dry? With The Timewise line, the great thing about the product is that it is not just a foundation. When you use the Timewise line you a lightweight, oil-free formula that also moisturizes and helps fight the aging process. Going from the number you gave me it breaks down like this: First you have the shade...ivory, beige or bronze. Second the shades are seperated into depth of color (lightest to darkest) This involves the first 2 digits. 10=lightest depth. And third, the shades are seperated by undertones (shades). This is the last digit. 4+pink. So your old foundation is Ivory lightest depth with a pink undertone. I would recommend Ivory 4 in the Timewise. It should work for you. Hope this helps! I didn't want to simply answer the question and you ask where I came up with it. lol
thank you so much for your relpy, i appreciate all the info! I use the cleanser and moisturizer by mary kay for combination/ oily skin. i have oily t zone. looks like on your listing you only have combo in ivory 5, 6 maybe too dark? whats your opinion, im pretty fair skinned. Thanks again, you sound like a great mary kay associate!
Aww, thanks! I used to sell it., but my client base that I thought I was going to have didn't turn out as well as I had hoped (my sister in law sells it as well as a lady at my church, so too much competition in one small area....) I am more of a combo myself! If you use the Timewise cleanser and moisturier already, you know how wonderful this line already is!! It makes any other makeup you put on just melt into your skin in a perfect blend! I am usually pretty fair myself, but I use the Ivory 5. There really is not much difference in the 4 and 5 as far as I can see. The 4 is a little lighter, so if you have very fair skin this might be for you. However if you got any sun this summer (which most of us do!) the 5 should blend just as well. I use the 5 myself on a regular basis. Most of the time I find the 4 too light. It works, but it makes me feel pale. Does that make sense? lol.
