about how much do they grow in the first year after planting seeds?

It depends on what zone you are in the soil condition, But I would think the should grow enough to bloom the first year.
I just looked on the internet and I could not find anywhere where it said how much they grow in the first year.
Mine are self seeders and they bloom from late May til frost. The picture is of my Rose Hedge.
I sure hope this helps. I will do some more research on them and post it here if I find anything.
Thank you for the question.
