The listing, DAGGER/LETTER OPENER has ended.

This dagger/letter opener is marked "SPAIN" there are no other markings. It is shaped like a cross with a shield/crest just below the cross. . I'm not sure what the animal depicted on the shield is. I'm not sure what it is made of, only that it is old and quite heavy. it is 9" long quite nice, ornate, interesting. I have never run across something like this before..best of luck to the bidders

The animal on the bottom is a lion. I looked at the top and really could not tell from the picture I blew it up 500 times. From one angle it looks like a man with an oddly shaped head and a bird above him. Wish you could get a clearer picture of that section. Very nice piece. Best of luck. I am watching for now.
