does it take rapid fire photos..... click click click etc.... or is there a pause after you click.... and then someone walks in front of you and what you were shooting at is gone......... I had a kodak... and now a nikon... both slow.... with kids ya need something faster....... take it you got the camera in 06.... can you still get memory cards for it...? I don't earase mine that way I'll always
have them as a back up if my computer gets hi-jacked etc...?

It pauses after you click. It does have alot of settings you can change it to. I only used it when my daughter was born. It does have a setting for movement so if kids are running around you can till get them. It has a memory car with and Im pretty sure you can still purchases them. Ill add a picture with the settings and the memory card for you.
