On one side of this wonderful coin is a Portrait of George VI to the left with the Lettering:
GEORGIVS VI D:G:BR:OMN:REX.
Engraver: Thomas Humphrey Paget

On the other side is the Value, English crest (lion) and crown. Also Lettering:
