Ring is made of silver plated or silver and is set with a hand carved shell cameo, with nice relief. Ring is nonadjustable size 5&1/2 - 6, and there are 3 hallmarks(?) stamped into the outside bottom of band where two look like squares. There is a small surface crack next to back of the lady's hair that I can see from the back, but I don't feel it with my finger nail & the bezel part that holds shell is bent in areas, so because of this am rating ring in great
