Description
The listing, Lego Duplo Building Blocks has ended.
This is a packed to the brim priority mail box of Lego Duplo building blocks. I will attach a picture later. This is the medium sized priority mail box.
Do you accept paypal for payment? Are you able to get a picture up? If you are not able to get a picture up can you email me one? If you can then I will email you back with my email address.
Yes. Paypal is fine. Will definitely take a picture today. Also, if you want slower mail I can send a bigger box full. I have 2 boxes of the duplo blocks. It is easier to send them all in one big box rather than do 2 listings.
Well I dont know what a GIN is. I'm giving the blocks away, I just don't want to pay to do it. It's not like I'm donating them to a charity. Maybe I'm too new to this site and don't understand the rules?
GIN means Get It Now. A fixed bid amount that is substantially higher than the typical bid. This would insure that you receive enough credits to cover free shipping to the bidder and they could end the bids once they click on the Get It Now button. GIN cannot be added once an auction has actually received a bid, though. On this auction, as you already have a bidder, you cannot place a GIN bid amount. Hope this helps and welcome to Listia!
Ah, thanks RhondaLe, wish I had known about GIN before listing. It looks like I really screwed up. I'm only going to get 1 credit for the legos. Oh well, it's a learning experience. Will get more familiar with Listia before listing more things. I have sooo much stuff to exchange.
You can still lower the shipping price and change the size of the box. You can wrap the package and not have to pay priorit mail prices. If you could lower the shipping to about $8 it would help me alot!
Hey Carolyn5. I can do that, there must be another box around here. I have no idea how much it cost to ship them regular mail. Is it okay to just make changes here on Listia?
This auction was a definite learning experience. I realized now, I should have figured out the value of listia points and used that to decide how much to list the blocks. Also, I should not have put them in the priority mail box. Should also probably list things that don't weigh much, of which I have a lot. I should list the thousands of legos still remaining on ebay. Thanks for all the advice people.
I will help you get the bid up! Did you know you can also start your bid at 100 points instead? There is a hidden feature. While you are listing, the bid starts at 1, but there is a box or icon you can click on the left near the starting bid that says more feature. Something like that, and you can set your bid 100.
Keep trying and don't give up! You will get the hang of how this works and then you will be truly hooked! You might also try shipping in a tyvek type pkg like FedEx uses except without their logo, of course. This will reduce the weight on the pkg and still be sturdy enough to ship Legos inside.
