Antique Store Find! Bottle of Old Buttons w Cork Top Advertising Label & GIN Bonus! Found at my favorite antique store right here in my town! I so want to keep but just know someone out there would probably love them so want to share and share alike! They weigh almost 2 lbs. IN the bottle. I have NOT opened the bottle and when I even tried to wiggle the cork it would not move so I'm not going there so don't ask me to lay them out, I've taken many close-ups to give you an idea about what's in there, and as being sold at an antique store I would bet they are all pretty old! So, I'm going to go ahead and put a GIN of 100k with a bonus of two orange candles as shown in the pics, if GIN is not used you don't get the candles. Bottle of Buttons measures 7 x 3 and candles measure approx. 4 x 3 x 1.5. I'm pretty positive the label is a replica of an old Medicine Bottle of DANDELION cure by A.R. White, M.D. of Indianapolis, Indiana! Okay, let's keep it clean and positive, okay?! :)

I see, "THIS IS AN AUTHENTIC 19TH CENTURY REPRODUCTION" , alas, it appears I was right! I didn't even read that...had to totally unwrap it and take the bottle out and use my magnifying glass to read it. Hope that helps. :)

This is pretty cool, my sister & her fiancé have a alcohol brand based off of old bottles & dr. Perscriptions. Its really neat. This listing reminds me of that. you know what is a bummer ( not to continue w/any neg thoughts) but so many people are having issues right now with the ding dongs of Listia, myself included. Its truly a bummer cuz 100 people on here could bring smiles to your face but only 1 can ruin it for ya. I gotta pass on this funny quote i found...may the fleas of 1000 stray cats infest the crotch of the person who ruins your day and may their arms be too short to scratch!!!! I just wanted to say I'm happy I read all the comments. I too have had bad experiences on Listia. I have paid for many items from other sellers I never received. I had complained to the Listia crew but nothing was done. That is part of Listia's issue, they want people to buy and sell but don't want to get involved when the transaction goes badly. I loved the buttons and the bottle. ..but if I buy one more sewing notion without getting rid of some of what I have my children will kill me! ( I have 7 of them) I come from a crafty family and both my mother and sister quilt. You can check them out on Nadanuff2013 on eBay. Thanks for your time and the opportunity to vent. For some reason the mean people are crawling all over this site lately trolling good listians. Pay them no mind it is a very cute item. I have a "replica" 1920s bedroom and this would look great on one of the shelves for looks to fit the decor.

Ugg I can't stand rude negative people. What happened to the fun Listia?

I honestly don't understand the negativity that is running rampant on the site lately and why the mods are not putting an end to it. They used to suspend commenting ability for folks who were crazy rude but lately it's like anything goes.

You are so right. If you make hem pay for shipping they beg for free you give free and they complain about how long it takes to get it (my folks get their item within 3-4 days of listing close and still complain).

Or the best one is they open a dispute without talking to you first and they claim something that never happened to get credits back. The scammers use to be new sellers, now we have scammers in buyer and the sellers are getting chased off at an alarming rate. I am cashing out and taking a break after mid November. Not sure when I'll come back... It is just too crazy.
