Up for your consideration is this nice vintage solid oak recipe box with dovetailed corners and high quality decorative brass hinges. this box holds standard size index cards and measures approx. 6 1/2" x 5 1/4" x 4 1/4"

it is a very nice example of a fine vintage box. it has a beautiful wood grain and looks very nice on display :)

There were none in it but ....funny that you should ask.......I printed a family cookbook for my kids and grandkids last year for Christmas and I am going to be adding to it each Christmas. I can share some of ours w/ you if you like :)
