That bar code is just the UPC code for that product. It is always the same. The PIN code (which is covered up in the photo) is what you will use to redeem the credit.

I bought this in 2012 and never used it. I got verbal confirmation from a Verizon Wireless employee in-store just to be sure before I listed it. I had to scratch the PIN code for them to verify. You can check my feedback for other similar gift cards, I have always delivered as promised. THanks!
