2 great Charlie Chaplin movies, 1 great DVD!

==
The Great Dictator (1940)
In this tale of mistaken identity Charlie Chaplin steps out of his traditional "lovable tramp" role to play both the dictator (Adenoid Hynkel) and his unlikely doppelganger, a poor Jewish barber who is an outspoken opponent of Adenoid's new policies, an inadvertent rabble-rouser, and accidental rebel leader. The outspoken barber must flee for his life, only to be mistaken for the dictator himself! Hijinks ensue!

Chaplin departs from his traditional "Lovable Tramp" persona in this film, but otherwise it is full of traditional Chaplin slapstick, physical, and confused identity humor!

==
Easy Street (1917)
In this short, Chaplin returns to his "Lovable Tramp" persona, who is simply looking for a job. He stumbles on a "Help Wanted" poster in the local police station, and is assigned to walk-the-beat on one of the cities most dangerous streets, where the local bully not only beats, and robs the locals, but has single-handedly beaten every police "task force" sent to tame this street!

If Charlie isn't careful, he might just find himself the most recent victim of "Easy Street"!

** The DEFAULT language is FRENCH. But you can specify English. **

***** ATTENTION! THIS IS A REGON 2 DVD! *****
To prop up high prices, DVDs usually have region codes.

!!!! This is a Region 2 DVD !!!!

R1) US & territories, Canada, Bermuda & Caribbean
R2) Western Europe, Western Asia, Japan, South Africa & French territories

As a region 2 DVD, you will either need a region 2 player, a "regionless" player, or a DVD ripper like Handbrake or MakeMKV.

FYI:
R1 = Region 1
R2 = Region 2

Also, I didn't give a full explanation as to all the regions and countries in 1 or 2.

Also, there are 8 regions, plus two "Fake" regions: 0 and 9, which is either a DVD without any region flag set, or every region flag set. The movie industry big-wigs that decided the DVD specs did not want regionless DVDs. That's why they went so quickly to the DivX format (that fell flat on it's face), then Blu-Ray's.
