A very nice lot of over 500 vintage buttons. Over 1 pound. Many matching sets!There are no metal or metal plated buttons in this lot. I keep all my metal buttons separate along with keeping my metal tone - plated buttons in different containers.
Reason - do not want to damage or hinder any type of aging (patina) of the buttons.
There are plastic, shell, wood, glass with possible bakelite and celluloid buttons in this batch.
My collection of buttons is mainly from family and friends.
I have recently posted small lots of vintage/antique buttons on eBay and all have sold. That is something because the number of button auctions on eBay is huge.
What you won't find in this lot of buttons is screws, nuts, bolts, etc. The buttons are good quality vintage. There may be a few staples in some of the buttons.
