FREE: Antique cameo set

The listing, Antique cameo set has ended.

This is a three brooch set of antique cameos. They belonged to my grandmother who gave them to me before she had to move to an assisted living facility. As you can see, each cameo bears the wistful likeness of a dreamy young woman traditionally positioned on the dark amber background. Traditionally, a cameo is worn at the dip of the throat between the collarbones below the buttons on a high-necked blouse. Nowadays, women wear them pretty much wherever they wish.
