About how big are the hearts? About how far do they hang down from the "knob" just above the heart? Thanks for your time. F&W !!

the hearts are betweein a quarter inch and a half inch and they hang about an inch from the knob. i hope this helps dont have a tape measure right now, so i am just estimating.

Lab created opals? Or natural?

all my opals are lab created hon, they are actually better and more durable than natural opals which tend to crack, split and shatter in hot and cold temperatures, where these lab created opals are actually treated to withstand the temperature changes. god bless and good luck if you decide to bid hon.

Opal is my birthstone. I've had many pieces over time and never had any of them crack. Amazing luck considering I live in Iowa!

yes you have amazing luck, i also have opal as birthstone, and i have several too. but i have had two of mine get damaged due to weather. one split right in half and the other shattered, i was coming in from the snow and into a warm house and as soon as i got in it just shattered into pieces, so now i only buy the lab created. god bless
