Description
The listing, Lot of 4 Vintage B&W Sailor Hula Girl Postcards - WWII 40s has ended.
I am pleased to offer for auction on Listia today this lot of four vintage black and white postcards from the 40's. My mother-in-law collected postcards, and when my father-in-law was in the Army Air Force during World War II he would send her postcards for her collection. These were not mailed, however. They are not in perfect condition, as my mother-in-law used clear tape to put them into albums and the tape is still there. I didn't want to take a chance of removing it.
These four postcards are of slick cardstock and feature sailors cavorting with a variety of shapely native ladies. I ship free to Listia verified addresses in the US only. Please don't hesitate to ask if you would like more pictures, measurements, or details. Thanks for looking, and have a lovely Listia experience!
Aren't they neat? My MIL had hundreds of postcards. I cherish the ones my FIL wrote to her when he was away in the Army Air Corps during WWII. it's really funny to be able to see what your in-laws were like when they were practically just kids.
