These are WILD Chinese Lanterns and they stay green until they are spent, then dry and turn tan. They are quite prolific and interesting to see. The lanterns can be up to 1 1/2" in size and the plants can get about 2 to 2 1/2' tall.The seed pod is inside the lantern and has quite a lot of seeds in it, however they are sappy, sticky to work with so a pain in the you know what to harvest.
I am sending 6 seeds for free or if you want to try your own seed pod, I will send 2 seed pods to you if you want to pay shipping for it.
