Christmas 1969. Seventeen-year-old Mike Kittredge, too broke to buy his mother a present, melted some crayons to make her a candle. A neighbor saw it and convinced Mike to sell the candle to her. Hi Sweet one! You have some WONDERFUL Auctions going... as USUAL!! I have been keeping my eyes on a few!! I have NEVER had a Yankee candle... or warmer before! I know, such a sheltered life I lead...
