The listing, Beautiful Vintage Pansy Screw-type Earrings has ended.

I am pleased to offer for auction today on Listia this vintage pair of pansy earrings. The earrings are a screw-on type such as was worn in the days before pierced ears. The pansies look to be enameled on, and are pearly white, purple, and yellow and beautifully detailed. These were my mother-in-law’s earrings and probably date back forty or fifty years.

I will be mailing items on Tuesday, October 18. I ship free anywhere in the USA (sorry, Canadian friends). Please be sure and check my other auctions for more unique and vintage jewelry. I'm sorry 8-(. I'm surprised that there are so many people on Listia from Canada. Did Listia start out to be a Canadian company? I need to do some research to find out how much shipping is to Canada, maybe I can start shipping there. It's just that I'm so strapped right now with two kids in college that I can only afford free shipping at all if it's something really small and light. I don't think it started out as a Canadian company, but we Canucks are a plucky bunch ;) Shipping to Canada is relatively inexpensive. USPS First Class is 2-5$ for a light item (under a pound, let's say). Up to four pounds can go First Class and it's always under $10. Shipping with delivery confirmation is about $12. I for one am always willing to pay shipping costs, or at the least the difference between the shipping costs (if you put Free Shipping to the US an, say, $4 for Canada you will still get your Free Shipping label, too). Food for thought :)
