Cute gift item but with one oddity there is no off switch for the calculator. This fact requires that the battery be removed and turned over before the calculator will work. It then needs to be removed and replaced to turn off and save battery life. Takes a small button cell battery which has recently been replaced and is stored in off position. The cool magnetic closure was what first caught my eye. The case opens and then rotates around the reverse side of the case. The pen is plastic and lightweight and it does work.
