15 Gigs?? Wow that's tiny compared to today's standards. Might be good as a drive for backups, I used to have a really old 4 GB drive I used to use that for when I had a 80 gig as my main one.

15 gigs was about win xp and win me levels of storage any drive helps no such thing as too much drive storage makes a nice size to install linux on a dedicated drive

I use Linux Mint very user friendly you can try it out without removing windows and learn to use linux before you kiss Microsoft goodbye
