The listing, Non- GMO ORGANIC Stevia Rebaudiana- 15 Heirloom Seeds has ended.

15 Heirloom Seeds From Motherplant! It is the healthiest edible sweetener known to date! (alternatives: 1. Refined GMO sugar is very bad and toxic for one's diet; 2. Aspartame is actually made from E-Coli poop!! Yes Poop; as if E-Coli isn't toxic enough!) You can eat fresh picked from stalk, or dry in dark non humid paper bag for about a week and add or grind and add to any food/drink! Spread the sweet, sweet love of Stevia! It is actually 4x stronger in sweet taste than sugar per scientific studies. We don't keep artificial sweets in the house, so when my son feels he has a sweet tooth, he marches right outside and eats the leaves directly off the plant. They are ripe when white flowers start to bloom and you would want to pick them before the tips of the leaves turn brown. (I love the fact that it does not provide my child with the "ADD" sugar high! Wish I could attach the pics I have of him eating straight from plant in action! We recently made gum from it as well. One of our favorite recipes is to make "Freezes/slushies" with Non-Gmo Strawberries, ice, dried stevia and non -GMO fresh squeezed lemon juice! It's really the sweetest best kept secret sweetner. Many beverage companies are currently being banned from using unhealthy aspartame and instead substituting stevia, ieL check your next 'Sierra Mist' or 'Honest Fizz' bottle! Health food stores sell stevia extract, but it is pricey. Good luck and enjoy!

I have some seeds that have just 'accidentally' sprouted here in Sherman TX via wind blowing the seeds nearby and taking root in lawn. It can be grown indoors, but not with much yield. It can definitely be germinated and started indoors and transplanted outside later when warmer. The main issue with growing indoors is that this plant loooves FULL sun, be it scorching (over 100 degrees) or at our current temp in the 60s; dropping down to the 50s at night. It's peak time to flourish outdoor with plennnty of water to increase yield s from April to December (if still warm in tx). I do bring mother-plant indoors during freezes just to maintain caution that it by no means fails.. hope this helps! (I plant new seeds if not germinated outdoors every March)
