hi,, a question maybe you can answer not about the auction , when signing up i have helped a couple of friends now one i had to go her house to help ,we had real problems with the address is only reason i noticed this ok the question -- on most auctions it shows the address / area the sellers from ( right above the shipping list & below the watchers ) , mine says Canada for example , gives bidders a better idea where items coming from , SOME Sellers auctions it doesn't ever say yours being one of them , Do you have any idea why some show and some don't ? only asking in case it's our choice and i didn't know that , if it is choice i should be letting members who ask me know and telling them how to make it show or not show ,,,, Sorry to bother you , you dont have to help me by responding but i was hoping you wouldn't mind letting me know if it's a choice that you know of or if yours just is the way it is nd you don't know why some do show where sellers from and some members auctions don't show where sellers from ,,, THANK YOU For your patience , reading this , maybe i should sent this private message but thought asking on an auction page it might be easier to see what it is i mean , please don't be offended im not asking to ask your personal business i truly am asking so i know for my own self , hope that makes sense,, MAYBE It's the difference between older and newer accounts is that possible , i do notice you have been here a lot longer , i didnt notice if the others i see with no address showing are also older accounts , thanking you in advance,,

No bother at all :-) No you do not have to list your where about's on your auction you can fill it in with your actual location, lie and say your in another area or simply just leave it blank, it's there basically so members can quickly look and see where the seller resides so they can estimate on how close they are to the buyer to determine how long it shall take to ship the item from that area to their's. Mainly, it's good for digital delivery stuff because when you make up your auction and your shipping method is digital delivery the potential buyer can see that your location is say Canada and they happen to reside in the United States or Overseas and are thinking about biding on say a movie code and it may or may not work in their area so they can see ahead of time that your auction may not be for them based on your location.

Wow really longer than that or your trying to make me feel better , Either way your very kind and your answer was VERY Helpful I Appreciate it greatly you took the time some other sellers cant be bothered to answer even when its direct question on their auction , and those are when i need answers , cant bid without them , so yeah YOUR WONDERFUL

Your so very welcome, I don't mind answering any members questions as long as I know a bit about it and can offer some type of info in regards. I'm always happy to help, whether it be about more info on my own auctioned item or something other Listia related to assist another.
