The listing, Henry David Thoreau Bookmarks: Snowflakes and Hawk has ended.
Beautiful bookmarks inspired by the works of naturalist Henry David Thoreau (1817-1862). An excerpt from his writings can be found on the back of each bookmark. The quotes are from one of these sources: Thoreau's journal, a daily record of his nature walks; Walden, or Life in the Woods, observations while living close to nature by Walden Pond in Concord, Massachusetts; "Slavery in Massachusetts," an address delivered at an anti-slavery meeting; and "Autumnal Tints," an essay about the colors of Fall.
These bookmarks have a glossy sheen on them and are made of cardstock. These bookmarks measure about 5 1/2 inches by about 2 inches each. Thoreau did not paint pictures, he only wrote. The artist's name is not mentioned by the publisher.

The Snowflake bookmark is represented by this quote:
Nature is full of genius, full of the divinity; so that not a snowflake escapes its fashioning hand.
The hawk quote:
I would rather never taste chickens' meat nor hens' eggs than never to see a hawk sailing through the upper air again.
