i would LOVE to move my modem closer ,but i only have 1 active phone jack in my home now and it was put in specifically for CenturlyLink (Current ISP) And i have to have the Cord plugged in to the phone jack then to the back of the combo which is only a 10 foot cord to get service.. I have thought of buying a Longer Line but i have been told it will make the signal weaker the longer line i use.

It works everywhere i need it but my main bedroom, I had a Linksys router for a long time just sitting in my closet and ended up giving it to someone i was dating at the time , Wish i had it now!! lol

Bad thing is its OLD LOVE now, LOL.. I live in South Carolina born n raised! Ive always wanted to move out west for a while though! S.C. is great i just hate the SUPER HOT SUMMERS!!

Im for sure keeping my eye on this modem, everything i have read up on it seems like it may be just what i need! thnx!

no it is not fake, you can see my feedback history as a seller....I think someone above found the link. Sorry I do not have a better one, but the website I was on showed this router and I got the info off of there, and it was the Linksys website, the maker of this router.

nope :) I ended up with 3 routers lol. I bought a new house where we only have satellite internet, and I have a trailer in the desert. We were having a hard time finding a router that worked with Excede's modems. My boyfriends dad gave us a router, and we had gotten 2 others to use in our houses. We ended up not going to the desert this year, so I decided to list the 2 extra routers I had. I already sold one, and have good feedback from her.

Thanx for the info.. was just curious. Im trying to find a router tht will extend the wireless wifi , Atm im using a router/modem combo provided to me by my ISP and it drops signal right before my bedroom which sucks cause i just bought a new flat-screen with a roku stick built into the T.V. and cant even use it.. I literally only need about 15 more feet of wifi solid signal and id be good to go. Trying to find the best router can be ANNOYING!! lol

Oh that does suck! I had the same issue when I was using a combo router lol. That was with Cox Cable. The modem I have now is not wireless, so I have to have a router. It does get annoying! I went through a few different brands before finding DLink and Linksys work best here. 15 more feet must be frustrating! Have you tried to move the modem? I am stuck with mine where it is because of the satellite and the modem needing to be near a window. I miss cable internet.....

ah the joys of technology......and new "love" lolol! All I can say is I wish I had the problems you do of deciding to upgrade to a bigger bedroom lol! I live in San Diego and it is so expensive here, my router works all over my whole small property lol.
