I have a friend who has a geode "farm" here in Santa Ysabel, CA and she gets her geodes from all over the world. She is a rock hound herself. These Geodes are not local to our region but she goes around and buys these directly from the source. She then let's me come over and pick and choose from her stuff and we bust it open together to see what is in them. I also have larger pieces that make great offering bowls for altars, or just to have sitting on one. Quartz is super healing.From the metaphysical point of view, geodes are wonderful for family harmony and the home. They are good for stimulating creativity and harmony. Large geodes placed in home corners help to stimulate chi flow in that area. Placing a crystal inside a geode helps to cleanse and recharge it at the same time; think of geodes as power generators comprising the sum total of ALL the little crystals it contains! On another level, geodes actually represent the divine feminine aspect. The cavity within the geode may be taken to symbolize the womb. To think it took millions of years to form these, and inside of a rock! These pieces to me are priceless. I have other auctions with rough gemstones and crystals. I do find most of my stuff myself and pull it out of the Earth. I cleanse and bless all my stones as well. Each has been cleaned with blessed water from the lake I live on I bless myself during the full moon. I try to do my best with pics but stones are always more prettier in person lol!
