For your consideration:

This auction is for a used Netgear brand, "ProSafe" 8 port gigabit switch. It is used and shows a moderate amount of cosmetic damage. The unit does power up and the lights for all 8 ports also light up once power is given to the device. I cannot guarantee that the unit will function beyond that though. There is no software included and no power unit included. I tested it with a simple AC-DC adapter with an input of 120VAC 60Hz 42W and an output of 12VDC 2A that is a Plug-in class 2 transformer. I don't know if those are the correct settings this unit should be powered up with but, the "magic smoke genie" did not come out of the switch when I powered it up...so I think the power ratings are correct. Haha! Again, the model number is GS108 v3. So feel free to look up that number on Bing and check out it's reviews and ratings and such as I cannot squeeze a copy of all of that into this auction data box. :) Oh....and on the front of the switch box it says "Auto uplink" so....I'm not sure what that would signify but, that's what it says.
