This is a uncirculated United States proof set which includes a penny, nickel, dime, quarter, half dollar, and silver dollar all from 1976. Also the case it comes in opens up in such a way it can be used a display case.

I am sorry to let you know my friend but the IKE dollar in this set is not silver the only bicentennial one that is silver from 1776-1976 is the one minted at San Francisco, and the one that is silver is only .40 silver, still this is a very nice set I have the very same one :)

The term ''silver dollar'' is often used loosely. And I have seen many times here on Listia where people proclaim that all San Fran minted Ikes contain silver. This is incorrect. The 40% silver Ikes were individual coin special mint issues in Uncirculated and Proof (so called Blue Ikes and Brown Ikes after their packaging) as well as specially packaged three silver coin (25c 50c $1.00) bicentennial issues and yes they were minted in San Francisco, but this proof set was also minted in San Francisco, however it does not contain a silver Ike.

I could not have said it better myself 84eagles, but still this is a nice set and if you would ship to Canada for free I would bid to win, even though I have this set already I am a big collector of all proof sets American and it is always good to have more than one of the same set :), so please send me a message if you will take me up on my offer to bid to win and I will let you in on how to ship to Canada for the cheapest price and still be able to track it without paying for a tracking number :)
