so how does this work ?

basically there is software on the drive, you install the software onto your system.
then you go through the wizard and register one of your fingers. Now when ever you go to a site that requires a password, you just swipe your finger and it will log you in.
You can also lock documents this way also.
I got a new laptop, and it has biometrics built in, that is why I do not need the thumbdrive anymore, and that is why this drive is so small.
It is not set up as a storage drive, but as a security device.
