Very rear vintage diecast pepper Grinder. Like all diecast item's it still works like New. I don't think that you will find another one listed here due to the rarity of this item! this grinder would be an awesome Gift to a Grandparent or elder.

nice old grinder, but it looks like the crank handle has been replaced and it should have a wood bottom too, just saying

You might be right I don't know! This is how I bought it 8 years ago from the storage Auction. Sorry that I don't have any information on it. I wished that I did because I think this Grinder has a few stories. And thank you for the insights I truly didn't realize the points that you pointed out. But I'm definitely glad you did..

The crank handle looks right. There are several different ones out there. They had a wooden collection on the base though that caught the ground pepper. Some were square, boxy, like a mini coffee ginger and some were cylinder like the modern pepper mill shapes.

Sorry about the typos. This one looks a lot like one my brother had. Like a mini coffee mill. It was bolted to a small boxy collection base. The handle/crank was the same.
Some of the ones that came after we're cylinder and had different handles.
My brother had a shop filled with antiques, about 40 years ago. These were popular in the 40s
