your welcome, they are very beautiful when they grow, shoot im on here auctioning seeds off and i STILL have more than enough to plant this upcomming spring, guarentee i could plant a garden of these and still have seeds to auction, and mind u this is just off of one stalk,as i said each stalk grows multi heads, when they start matureing u want to watch for the peddles to drop off, and the inside to start drying out, and cut it off, make sure to cut at an angle, cause the more u keep up with it, the more heads will mature and bloom thus giving u more seeds.i went to the store and bought 1 packet of these seeds, came home and grew them, didnt think they was gonna come up, but i had one stalk come up, im thinking ok i got one stalk gonna get maby 3-4 heads sprout and thats it, shooot this thing will grow multi heads i know very well and im not exagerating me and my husband counted 20 heads on just the one stalk i had come up, as i said they dont get big but they put off ALOT of seeds u have to keep up with it, and clip ur heads as they mature and are ready so the other heads will have room to grow and bloom, i have a gallon freezer bag i guarentee with what ive auctioned off, i prob still have close to 2 pounds of seeds in that bag left, happy bidding

if u have kids or grandkids this would be a fun project for them, let them help u plant and harvest the seeds, oh ps word of warning, when the peddles comes off if u rub the center it will have this green fuzzy stuff in the center that covers the seeds as they dry out it will turn brown, but before u cut them off, u can rub a spot off and see the seeds benieth, u want to make sure they are blk and not green if the seeds are green there not ready and u can also cut ur heads off provideing the seeds are blk and set them aside on your porch i suggest putting a news paper benieth them and let them finish drying out, cause if u dont let them finish dryeing out and u try to take the seeds off immediately after u cut the head, lol ur fingers will turn purple from the seed dye lol i found out the hard way, so i cut my heads off that was fully ready and set them on the porch till they was completely dry wich i let mine sit about 3-4 days then took the seeds out ......happy bidding

the seeds are small and blk, i seriously dont know if u can eat them like a regular sunflower or not, ive tried to google it but cant find anything, one stalk grows multi heads i had quite a few heads on one stalk the heads dont get as big as reg sunflowers do, they are about ehh if i had to guess some come out to small to med size heads but not real small, look at the bottom of a mason jar the small ones get about a little bit bigger than that, thats my opinion
