Questions & Comments
I really like this! my babies are both older...do you have other sizes that would fit a 1yr old or even a 2yr old?
If you win this one, I will make it in a bigger size for you. You just have to give me a few extra days so that I can make it up. If you need a matching pair for both babies, email me at kaneese@live.com and I will work something out for you! Hope that helps and thanks for looking! :-)
oh, my goodnes that would be so nice! I would love it! I think they are just adorable and look really warm too. ok but just so you know... i am working on getting my address "verified" i have written to listia a few days ago concerning the problem i am having and have yet to hear back from them...
That is no problem. I understand and they should have it fixed soon for ya. Do me a favor and measure around your daughters head to see how many inches it is and then measure from the center of her head to the length you want and let me know. So you don't have to put it out here for everyone to see, you can email at kaneese@live.com.
Just adorable. Don't have any little ones anymore. They've all grown. But I wanted to tell you this is great and I am going to pass the candy corn idea to my mom. At 75 she is still knitting. She has put in over 5000 hours making knitted hats for the premie-NICU at YALE New Haven Hospital. A year round need for the babies are itty bitty hats and she makes all kinds of patterns including Sants's caps, fruit like watermellons & stawberries and even tomato & eggplant caps. just to name a few. So Keep crafting & keep sharing with others.
Thank you so much for the positive feedback on this! I love to crochet and with me being down from complications with a surgery, it just gives me more time to make the cute stuff! For as long as my hands keep working, I will be making and sharing! Thanks again so much!
Soooooooo cute! when i had my babies, it was women in their making hats for babies and i got the red white and blue, they also made little balmkys and pillows and bibs for the older sisters who came to see the baby in the hospital, mine had to stay a extra day and my girls came up to see me and the baby and the nurse took my girls and gave them the gift those sweet people worked so hard on, love duke hospital!! fanned as well :)
I try to always make an extra of each I do to share the love! I wish more people would take up this craft and spread it as well. I have been blessed to have had daughters that want to learn and daughters-in-laws that too as well! Thanks for the feedback and sharing that story! More people need to know the love it brings with something as simple as a smile and a blankie or hat! Thanks so much!
I want to share that some people wonder why I bid on handmade items when I myself crochet. It seems weird to some people but I do that to keep the desire of crafters up. You can never have enough homemade items to share! If it is an item I have or even can make, bidding/buying/sharing is just an extra to give to a home that needs it. I think that is why I am so hooked on Listia! lol Anyway, point is, even if you don't have a little one around you, there is always little ones "around" you that could use a smile and a blankie/hat/or love made item. That is what keeps us connected as humans. Not that I want bids on here, but any item made with love, think about sharing with someone who needs it. :-) Sorry, just had to share my thoughts. lol
