While reading up on Lemon trees, I found this..."One disadvantage of starting trees from seed is that it can often take as long as ten years before the first fruit appears, as opposed to three years for a grafted tree. So you may have to wait awhile to taste the first citrus from your new tree." What kind of Lemon seeds are these, maybe the name of them will help pinpoint more info?

Did you do anything special to the seeds, before planting them (like nicking, soaking, etc)?
Oct 22nd, 2011 at 7:43:45 AM PDT by
Original
yes, as a matter of fact, you have to soak them so they will germinate, and they can't be dried as with other seeds-- you have to plant the m as soon as they are taken out of the lemon. I will send the m germinated so you can just plant them when you get them. You can google how to care for them too. You will enjoy just having them growing. thanks for your interest.
