Pairs with your iPhone5 using the free SmartTRNr App (https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/smarttrnr/id716593466) from iTunes.

I bought this quite sometime ago from Woot (http://www.woot.com/offers/new-balance-body-trnr-fitness-watch-2) but was never able to use it - the New Balance app does not work on my iPhone4. (SmartTRNr App only states iOS7 as requirement, but seems to require iPhone4s or newer.)

The watch has been sitting in my desk for the past year unused. Based on the reviews and comments, you should not expect much from it as either a watch or a fitness tracker.

You'll need to check the SmartTRNr app in iTunes.

My last iOS device was an iPhone 4 and the app did not work with it.
