Generally phones that use sim cards are on GSM networks, and Verizon and their affiliates and Sprint PCS is CDMA network. However most of our phone flashers including this one (I just tested it) work for my phone, which is on Sprint

Most of the packaging says GSM 900-1800 MHz, but more and more phones such as Sprint are moving into or getting close enough to that frequency range where the flashers work, so far as I know personally, Verizon is the only network I can't personally test these on, they've been tested on at&t, sprint and a few others

@mizuki : GSM is sim card phone where you place your personalized sim card in the back of the phone usually near the battery, they come from providers such T-mobile and AT&T.
CDMA is more of a programmable phone, all software. which is from providers such as verizon, sprint, and metro PCS.
