NETGEAR’s Cable/DSL 54 Mbps Wireless Router lets you experience the blazing-fast network wireless speeds of 54 Mbps – up to five times faster than the popular 802.11b wireless network. These higher speeds make it a snap to surf the Web, download large files, videoconference, stream high-quality digital movies, MP3 music, and photos, and play online games. This wireless router also works with 802.11b wireless products so you can use it with your existing 802.11b devices and your new 54 Mbps (802.11g) devices. Auto-sensing chooses the fastest connections possible on your 10/100 Mbps wide area network and four local area network ports

I was reading on the info Link you posted and it mention something about it coming with a installation CD? Did yours come with 1 or is it just pretty much Plug n play type setup? Also is the Default admin username and PW on the bottom of the modem that way the settings inside the modem can be accessed to set to desired setting? If it came with a setup disc then its needed as well.. Do you have the installation DISC?

No installation disc included - you can simply hard reset the router to factory settings and then set it up with whatever configurations you want. The full instructions are in the PDF manuals on the link I have in the description. Thanks and best of luck!

Thanks for reply..I kinda figured that but wasnt sure.. Does it cover a large home fairly well? I have a modem/router combo now and it drops wireless siginal about 15 feet before my main bedroom, which sucks cause i just bought a new flat screen with rokustick installed and cant even get wireless far enough back to use it.

Did it cover a wide area for you? no signal drops or anything?

I used it throughout a 2 bedroom apartment that was about 800 sq feet, and the signal was great :)
