Description

The listing, Mint Seedling / Plant! has ended.

I have an incredible amount of mint in my new back yard, and I want to clear some of it out to make room for other herbs. Rather than waste, why not share?

The mint "pile" looks like it was once tended and contains several different types of mint, but it is primarily this incredibly prolific Ground Ivy mint, as pictured above. It's not as strong a mint as the broad leafed variety (which is also in the pile somewhere), but it creates tons of beautiful fragrant flowers. They are sweet, and taste great in fruit salads. The leaves can be used generously as regular mint.

The winner of this auction will get *at least* one mint seedling or rooted plant.

These are live plants, and I want to keep them that way! So, I will only ship these out early in the week so they don't end up sitting in a hot post office over the weekend. For the same reason, I can not ship these internationally. Please plant them quickly.

And as always, normal Listia rules apply -
*verified addresses only
*no buyer's remorse (relax, it's just credits)
*Please do your best to make Listia a positive place for everyone and don't be a p.i.t.a.

Can they be planted outside in this weather, or should they be kept indoors until spring?

If your temperatures are consistently over 35 degrees at night, you'll be fine. Mint typically likes cooler weather anyway :)
