African Black Soap has been used for centuries to nourish skin with vitamins & minerals, & to help deep cleanse & exfoliate dead layers of skin.

✪✪ Use
Use anytime of the day...all over body &/or parts of body.
Helps with damaged skin, chronic eczema, oily skin, acne, freckles, & dark spots.
Improves skin texture, appearance & tone.
Helps hyper pigmentation when used along with exfoliation.
Can improve fine wrinkles with use over time.

✪✪ Ingredients
Palm oil, cocoa pods, plantain skins, kernel oil, water, Glycerin, Shea Butter

✪✪ Directions
Lather as if your using commercial soap...Can be used on hair as well!

African Black Soap is mild but also potent & depending on your skin needs, might be best used 2-4 days a week to prevent over drying. If you are using twice a day & get over dry, cut back to once a day, etc.
Use moisturizing soaps or agents in between your use of ABS (coconut oil, shea butter, etc.).

It is important to apply with a soft cloth, facial brush or bath brush as these natural soaps may retain solid bits that may bruise if rubbed directly onto the skin; some folks liquify the soap by sitting it into some water & then lather it on with a shower puff.

✪✪ Storage
This soap is soft yet firm enough to hold shape — so you can cut & form it into smaller "to use now” sections.
It lasts for a long time, so store the remaining parts (or whole parts you are not yet using) in a sealed container or baggie to keep moisture away.
Sealed Raw ABS can be stored for a year or more with great results!

Please look at the pictures & make sure this will fit & work with your project or intended use before you place your bid.

Do you make these? What do they smell like?! Very interested!!

Ghana soap is made in Ghana -- then we get it in big bulk blocks and make into the bars. We really could not reproduce it here unless you imported their raw ingredient base, and even then I doubt it would be really the same Ghana soap, we would not have the same conditions, fresh ingredients, same field equipment to TRY to make it here as there.

I just figured try some listed on Listia -- we use it all the time ourselves.

Not sure how to explain the smell, not like perfumed bars, not like "Ivory", not caustic like lye -- earthy waxy a bit smokey smell maybe -- and it can vary from batch to batch (different shipments we get in) as the makers may vary their amounts of one part or another -- which I find interesting -- one batch may be very dark, another more walnut color.

Since some buy again, I have started the last 8 bars or so to take pictures of the individual bars, so if first time got a dark bar know the listing is lighter bar or vice versa -- otherwise the soaps really feel and perform very much the same, sometimes can be more grit to them, sometimes the mixture is harder -- all depends on how we get it.

The gift wrapping -- some folks said they were going to be giving these away and it takes just a few moments this side and it dresses them up. Even if you use yourself and don't gift it's nice to get it that way to lay on your counter to see before you open to use, maybe can recycle the wrap on something else possibly.

Best,
Mike
