The listing, Probably Sweet Solano - Med Orange w/ Faint Lt. Orange Stripes Tomato Seeds or Angora Orange has ended.
The label smudged on the curing jar. The "permanent" marker, is not permanent.
I devised a better labeling system, but not before the identity of these got obscured.
I'm 90% sure they're Sweet Solano, an indeterminate plant, with regular foliage and leaves, med, orange fruit, with faint lighter orange stripes.
I'm about 10% suspect, that they could be Angora Orange.
It will be blatantly obvious which it is, in the seedling stage because Angora Orange has fuzzy foliage from the start.
Sweet Solano, has visibly striped fruit, in the green fruit stage.
Whichever they turn out to be, they will be true to the type they are.
Sweet Solano is a true to type, and Angora Orange is a true to type.
It's like having 2 purebred black dogs, one a poodle, and the other a lab. It's obvious which is which, even at the puppy stage.
Most of the photos are of Sweet Solano. The last three are of Angora Orange, for comparison.
I tried to get a photo of the faint stripes. The photo is dark and a little blurred, but I think the stripes can be seen.
TWENTY 20 SEEDS PER PACK.
Thanks all you Listians for bidding!
Your credits help me to be able to get other seeds to grow out and share next year, needed supplies, personal treats for me, and Christmas presents, none of which I could afford with real money.
I hope my seeds do well for everyone, and that some who recieve the seeds will grow, save seeds and share them, for others to enjoy, and have good local, fresh food! :)
