Should already have everything on it but games, comes preloaded software on it

No it does not with software already installed because, as stated it does not come with a micro sd card, thus it does not have the "software already installed" because it does not come with the micro sd card with software installed in it.

Right but the unit itself has a memory management chip in it and should have the capability of memory. You might do your own research on Google!

Just a FYI, I own one. The software is in the r4. You need a max of a 2gb micro card. Also check google for games for Ds and you download them onto the card. Place the r4 in your Ds and it will do the rest.
