It is a save editor. You plug the game cartridge into the dongle thing and connect it to your computer. From the program, you can backup and apply cheats to the save. I mostly use it to backup saves for all of my games. It is worth it just for that feature alone. That is a lifesaver.

2ds is like a 3ds just for those who cant see the games in 3d so it would work ^^

Maybe idk if it was compatible with 2ds it would say it was..if that's the case it would work on all the Nintendo DS systems ...maybe the cheats you add to the game are only for 3ds games...that's why it says its for a 3ds ..I don't think it will work but on a 3/ds

It will work for the 2ds as well because the 2ds plays the 3ds games. Just the 3d is off of the 2ds. So it will work for the 2ds as if it was the 3ds since its onlythe game cards getting hacked and not the system themselves. ^^ I had one and had to sell it because I needed money to live of off lol X3 hopefully I get this one so I can try to help my friends out on their games and try to get pokemon that will be awesome for me to get and same for my girlfriend. Anyways it most likely will work for the 2ds, but it may not work for like ds games since the ds games have the power shark thingy and for the 3ds/2ds has the powersave.

Oh awesome if the 2ds plays the 3ds games then of course it will work! Lol i was thinking like a 2ds with regular games not 3d games .so yeah that should work then!
