Fits like a size 4?

This would be one size up from a size one. I wear size 1 (that's 25 in Miss Me brand).

I'm not so sure about these fitting like a size 3. I wear between a 5 and a 7. I wear a 27 in the silver jeans and, depending on the jeans, either a 27 or a 28 in the miss me brand. So i would think these would fit like a 4 or a 5 maybe. But then maybe your right about a size 3 too. If i remember correctly, i could fit these but i have thick calves and the skinny leg was too small and tight for the calf area. I love these jeans!!!

I can wear a 26 but they are a bit big by only a mere inch so I want to say a size 3. My size 3 pants are the same size in the waist as a true religion size 27

Only trying to help! We, of course, cannot negate the fact that hand measurements are always the best and should be used instead of the tags because as you stayed, jeans fit differently
