I understand, It is just so disheartening that Listia has made credits so ridiculously cheap to buy, causing credit inflation. I once bought a beautiful sterling silver armor knuckle ring for just over 5,000 credits, and it was A LOT back then. I wouldn't be ablt to afford it today. Unfortunately my homemaker stole it along with some other treasured pieces, but I babble on now. when I wrote to Listia about the inflation they told me they were working on the problem, then one day I looked at he price of credits and realized they were the source of the problem. If I didn't enjoy this so much I'd quit as it's getting too expensive. Have a blessed day, sorry to rain all this down on you

It is pretty horrible the prices of things.. compared to what they used to be.. but.. inflation is everywhere unfortunately... even on a 'free' site.. I enjoy this.. but I've just had to find 'more' things to sell.. even to reach some of my goals.. I have gotten family all yule/christmas presents.. and even earphones.. this and sometimes a craft fair or two is all I go to making money.. waiting for my social security.. I am unable to work since 2007 .. but the government doesn't mind holding my money.. said there is ONE job in the state I can do.. a Toll Booth (which they expected me to move over 300 miles away and take the job from someone who has been there for 15 years).. which closed last year.. now what? .. so I do what I can.. on here and craft booths.. so I hear you on the credit issues.. and I do almost believe this will become another 'pay with paypal' site eventually.. which I would have to quit then.. :(

I'm sorry you feel that way.. 15,000 credits is only $ 2.68 and I pay shipping... I sell them at fairs and online for $ 9.00 I figure it's quite a deal...
Current rate: 5,600 Credits / US$1 (as of Nov 30, 2015 at 4:15pm)

I don't understand people comparing credits to cost of credits,it has to do more with how many credits one had, regardless of inflation, and it's because of this inflation I cant afford cute things like this

I understand and respect that statement, as I have been on here since 499 credits used to = $ 1.. I have to charge the current rate 5,600 Credits / US$1 (as of Nov 30, 2015 at 4:38pm) , as everything I buy .. people have gone up on their pricing as well.. but when you go to a craft fair.. you don't expect someone to sell something handmade for $ 499 (1920s price) instead of $ 5600 (2015 price) do you?

good luck getting your social security, I know how hard it is. I do my Yule shopping here, I'm near crippled and alone and have no way to go shopping, so I am grateful for that. I wasn't trying to insult you, more trying to figure it out. I made th same type statement on someone else's tonite. Maybe I'm just in one of those moods. I do like these and will keep one on my watch list so that if I have credits left I can get one. Can you put it next to something for comparison in size?
